Indulgent Double-Choc Dessertballs And Winter-Weariness

Being tired is so incredibly annoying. I absolutely despise feeling worn out, especially since it seems like I do so mostly throughout the day, and then, at night, I sleep very badly (or take forever to go to sleep). Either I have normal winter-weariness – I mean, it’s already getting dark and we just passed 3 pm) – or I have a bad case of chronic stressed-outness. I am, obviously, hoping for the first option!

The Best Type of Compliments And Vegan Chocolate Espresso Soft Serve

I just brought the girl I tutor to the door, and you know what she said to me as she was leaving? She said “I always really like coming here!”. It brought a big smile on my face, and I think I told her that that made me very happy about three times, probably making her regret that she said anything…but, to be honest, those types of compliments are just the best!

Train Rides, Nerves, And Fake Chocolate Pudding

I know I have been MIA the past three days, and I am so sorry to leave you all hanging after posting daily before. Those of you who have been following my posts (and if you aren’t yet – WHY NOT???!) will know that I was traveling for two days as I had been invited to a function to give a speech on my bachelor’s thesis. So, naturally, I didn’t get to/have to do any cooking. I was positively surprised by the hotel I was staying at, as they served lactose-free and soy milk products with every meal – that is far from normal here in Germany.

I had to ride the train for 5 hours to get to the function on Friday, and yesterday, after successfully delivering my speech, I got on the train again to get home. However, instead of taking 5 hours, the trip took me 7 1/2. How is that possible, you ask? Well, my first train arrived late, my second train was cancelled, which meant I had to take another train, which in turn was late again, and, the final train I got into, arrived late also. It was a grand day to be using public transportation, I tell you!

Super-Easy-Chocolate-Raspberries

I have always loved fruit, and I have always adored anything with chocolate. So combining the two whenever I can is a complete no-brainer to me! You know those chocolate-covered raisins you can buy at the store? I really liked those as a kid, but they are mostly covered with milk-chocolate, which I can now no longer have (I am VERY sensitive to lactose, I know that isn’t the case for everybody).
